I.P change

Hello.
I have a problem with my ip.
My brother Connected my coms with his immidiatly.
And my ip changed from:192.168.2.1 to 0.1.0.4.
Is there a way to turn it back?

broadband usb modem? unplug it an replug it

dial-up? disconnect and reconnect

other? start>run>cmd type "ipconfig /renew all" in the command prompt(without the quotes)

and that renew all dident work.

Do you think you could write this a little better? From what I can understand your brother connected his computer and your IP changed from 192.168.2.1 to 0.1.0.4.
Now assuming thats right, its impossible mainly because your IP cant be 0.1.0.4, but if you want to change your IP you can configure it manually like so

Goto Control Panel-> Network Connections->Go into your network connections properties

Double click on Internet Protocol(TCP/IP)
Enter the IP's manually.
If you dont know your Gateway, open command prompt and type in ipconfig to find out. And btw you'll have to set the DNS server as well which will probably be your gateway.

Well what was the error? If it was what I think type "ipconfig /flushdns"

192.168.2.1 isn't your actual IP address. 'Tis a network IP.
