April will make 2 years since I started to work on my first Dragon Warrior game. I haven't had the patience, time or organization to ever finish it but I decided that since I've put so much time into learning how to create games I might as well work on something through until its finished. I can't decide what though.

There are some types of games I will not make but here are some of the types of games I have been working on or have been considering making.

Dragon Warrior
Final Fantasy
Zelda

I have also been considering making a strategic command game where you command an army, battle for territory, build up your forces, ect.

What would you be most likely to play?
If you're going to make a Zelda BYOND game, make it a TBS set during the war 10 years before Ocarina of Time.

I don't really like Ocarina of Time, I was thinking of something a little more classic.

Not really sure where you made the connection that your game would have much to do with Ocarina! :p

The great war occured between most Hyrulian races (The gorons, Zora, Hylians and Gereudo) due to paranoia and tension over the whereabouts of the Triforce. Each thought the other had it and so they all went to war- it's almost comparable to the Cold war. There's primarily the reason why there were such reduced numbers of population during Ocarina (and, of course, why Link is an orphan).

You'd think that maybe Hylian Knights' last ditch offensive on Ganon's castle approximately 5 years after Link drew out the master sword might've been more effective if they hadn't all been cut down 15 years earlier...

Er, anyway, the game would be pretty cool if you took the different race's attributes into account. Gorons would sink like stones but Zora would be adept at swimming up river... you'd have the elite guard of the Hylian Knights and the stealth skills of the Gereudo theives...
