" You can't make money on fan-games with BYOND in any case."
Q, Even like lets say the whole game is available to users to get every item but some items could be hard to find, etc would charging lets say 1 cent(any amount) for that item that already appears for everyone to get in the game but a bit hard,is that still breaking law? Another one, wat about donations?(even tho that has liek a 99.9% chance of happening) |

Yes, you can't charge for ANYTHING. Another one, wat about donations?(even tho that has liek a 99.9% chance of happening) Donations can't be made on a fangame, however, if you have a more general reason for asking for donations you can. Just as long as you don't ask for donations on any page relating to the game itself. |

Maybe you could say "To cover the server costs (for like digitalbyond) a donation would be helpful" |
You could get sued for making it. Generally, however, most companies don't care too much, especially if you don't make any money. You can't make money on fan-games with BYOND in any case. It's still copyright infringement though, and you can still get sued, so you might want to decide to just play it safe, and come up with your own story for a game.
