Diablo 2 barely scrapes through into the category of 'action RPG', let alone 'RPG'.

Seriously, if you were going to pick an all-time-best-RPG, couldn't it be an actual RPG? Daggerfall? Morrowind? Baldur's Gate 2? Planescape:Torment?

You didn't include Oblivion in your list. <_<

Oblivion was a simplified Morrowind with prettier graphics.

It was still fun, regardless. Plus, it corrected a few class problems that were in Morrowind (like magic classes getting screwed), and drew out the stories in a much better way than Morrowind. As well, the voice acting made the world feel more alive, even if it greatly limited the amount of interactions that were done.

and so much good stuff was taking out =( like the missiles wepeans...all they have is arrows. No throwing knives, stars, darts, etc. and u cant even enchant them =(

what else?imo opinion olbivion felt kinda small...since most of it was all grass...so was morrowind but...i dunno...oblivion just rapes the terrain with too much grass(lol?...)

btw this is random but how come in morrowind the map is an island but in oblovion its part of a giant continent?

I seriously doubt the voices had a sexual preference. As well, I don't do drugs. Drugs (illegal, that is) are for idiots who want to rot what little bit of a mind they have.

The voices were fine. I think they all fit well. My only qualm was one voice per gender and race, save for story-essential characters. It would've been much better had they had varying voices (or even shifted the pitch and tone of the voices they had). I don't believe there were many instances where the voices seemed out of place or absurd. As well, I think the individual voice actor's voices matched the body types of the respective races quite well. There wasn't anything that made me think, "What? That doesn't sound right at all." Personally, I think one of the best voice actors was the one who played Lucien Lachance

Yes, that was something I wasn't particularly fond of, but I'm sure a mod wouldn't be overly complex to recreate them. As well, I'm fairly certain you can enchant weapons. I don't often play as a magic type (I prefer to be an assassin myself), but I was fairly certian there was one time or another where I ran across someway to do it. I may be mistaken, though.

Oblivion is, in fact, bigger than Morrowind. Oblivion is approximately 16 square miles. Morrowind, on the other hand, only has about 6 square miles (reference, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ The_Elder_Scrolls_II:_Daggerfall#Game_world). Also, I think the forests were beautifully done, and made the game feel very much alive, something I always prefer in games. It was better than the somewhat ugly setting in Morrowind (but I did love Solstheim). Personally, I think Morrowind had too little grass. The forests were often just dying trees and dirt. The game's storyline somewhat requires a desolate setting, but I'm sure they could've provided something a little better looking.

That's because Vvardenfell is in a large lake north and east of Cyrodiil. Vvardenfell is a giant island that is seperate from the mainland of Morrowind. You never actually travel to mainland Morrowind, unless you count when you travel to the capitol city of Amalexia in Tribunal.

Cyrodiil is in the center, clearly labelled. Vvardenfell is north and east. It's the island above the text that says "Morrowind".
