What is your favorite TV series? By the way no reality shows or animes are allowed, and you can choose more than one.

My favorites are: Grey's Anatomy, LOST and Desprate Housewives
Heroes, Scrubs, Lost, House, Grey's Anatomy, 24, 4400 and the Dead Zone.

I know this probaly does not count but what I watch all the time is:
*NBA
*NFL
*SportsNite
*SportsCenter
*News
*WWE (Hardly nowadays)
*MLB (Sometimes)
*MTV Jams (Rap)
*Channel 709 (I forgot the name but it is all rap uncensored)
Heroes
Viper(Old show about a cop force driviing vipers)
Twilight Zone
DBZ
Yu Yu Hakusho
Fumoffu(Full Metal Panic)
And various other Nickelodeon shows...
The Sopranos has to be my favorite (alas, I can only watch it on DVD, seeing as how 1) it's over, and 2) I don't have HBO). MythBusters is also awesome. And too bad for you on the anime part. I like Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Full Metal Alchemist, and Outlaw Star as well.
Heroes, Doctor Who, and (from the looks of the first episode at least) Torchwood.

There are others, but non-Aussies wouldn't recognise them.

Torchwood did look fairly interesting. All that advertising hype made it look like a load of bull. But it wasn't -that- bad. I'm going to continue to look into it. Also, speak the others, if someone doesn't know what it is, explain it =P

(By the way, if you say "Neighbours", I'll stab you with a spork <.<)

My television stands as this:
Monday - Mythbusters
Tuesday - NCIS
Wednesday - House M.D.
Thursday - N/A (I got sick of Law and Order)
Friday - N/A
Some of these might count as reality TV, but....

I Shouldn't Be Alive
Mythbusters
House
Prison Break
King of the Hill

Yeah, I'm still reserving judgement, but it looks promising. So far it just looks like a darker, Earth-bound version of Doctor Who, which is just fine in my book! The main Doctor Who series is starting to get a little bit silly at times...

I didn't watch any of the advertising hype because I don't normally watch commercial TV. Can't stand the ads, they all suck. When there's something on that I want to watch (Heroes, Torchwood) then I tape it and fast-forward through the ads. Take that, channel ten!

Well, ABC cancelled most of my favourite shows (*shakes fist*) but at the moment I'm watching The Chaser's War on Everything (political comedy and general buffoonery - gets extremely silly and pointless at times, but it's good for a laugh). It's not as good as early Glasshouse (cancelled), which in turn was not nearly as good as Backberner, but you take what you can get. Sigh.

Other than that, I don't have anything that I always watch. I'll watch Catalyst on ABC very occasionally if something catches my eye, and I'll sometimes watch bits of ABC's Wednesday lineup if I need something to veg out to. (The New Inventors (showcases Australian inventions, can be fairly interesting), Spicks & Specks (music quiz show, sometimes amusing), The Chaser's War on Everything (see above), The Robinsons (didn't watch much of this but the bits I dud see weren't too bad).)

(By the way, if you say "Neighbours", I'll stab you with a spork <.<)

Got any spare sporks I can borrow? Just in case.

Oh, and ditto for The Bill. Most boring show on TV.

"Knifey-spooney" is a quote from the aussie stereotype from The Simpsons in the episode they visit Australia.

Aussie: "That's not a knife, this is a knife!"
Lisa: "That's not a knife, it's a spoon."
Aussie: "Oh! I see you've played Knify-Spooney before"

Yeah, Glasshouse was pretty cool. I remember catching that and enjoying. They should bring it back.

Ah. See, I don't watch The Simpsons, because if I did I'd get so many ads shoved down my throat I'd probably choke...

(Did I mention I don't like ads?)

1. Stargate(Both of them)
2. Doctor Who
3. Mythbusters
4. Scrubs
5. Deadwood(I still haven't seen season 3 yet. I need to buy the DVD set)

That's my top five. In that order. But many of those are very close in my mind. That's not to mention many shows I love like "The Office", "South Park", "Robot Chicken", "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" and about a million canceled shows(I'll spare you from that the list of my favorite shows, it's really, really, long).
