10 minutes (CST) until the fifth of July, so happy Independence Day if you're an American like myself! A.K.A. "Blow stuff up" day. Spent about $101 on fireworks total this year... had a "blast." Pun obviously intended. Grilled some burgers and hot dogs, had a good old time.

You mean "fifty minutes after the fourth of July". The next day starts at 12:00 midnight.

IIRC it actually starts at 23:56:04...an earth day being 23 hours and 56 minutes long with a few seconds.

Except that the concept of a calendar day is a human creation, therefore it's defined by humans as 24 hours, zero minutes, and zero seconds (the difference is made up by leap years).

I say we dedicate yesterday's Independence Day to the hope that the administration for the next has a president that is smarter than a monkey. =/

Slick one Digi.
I say that in the 21st century censorship is getting horribly abused by all countries. But back on topic: Happy Day After The 3rd of July |
