If you hang out with those kind of people its time to get new friends.

Snaking ruined Mario Kart DS. If you even wanted a chance to win you had to always pick Yoshi's egg cart if someone else picked because you know they're going to snake. It's what happened to smash brothers (which most of the game banned, it just ended up people using the same characters and same tactics against each other, and who ever get the lucky hits win.

Snaking was a aspect of the game that people took advantage of. From what I hear, even some of the developer staff, if you played with them online were doing it.
Don't be angry because you can't learn a style of game play to combat a good strategy to win. Not all the tracks supported it so as long as you put it on randomize, you wouldn't always be stuck with it. Most of the races were able to snake anyways, some were better then others, but for the most part, any player could do it. |

Its like Wave dashing.
Seriously, i despise people who abuse tweaks like that. Glad that all that wavedashing will be gone in brawl. Dylan_tnga loses. |

Advanced tactics eg. wavedashing is part of what makes smash bro's fun. It's not an end-all guaranteed win, you need a lot of skill to actually use it. Advanced tactics give more depth to the gameplay; playing without bothering to learn them leaves people in tiers based solely on their reflexes, and ability to abuse cheap attacks such as Link's down a, Captain Falcon's neutral b, or jiggly puff's down b. If two people play, one jiggly puff, one whoever, let's just say mario advanced tactics allow room to negate cheap advantages. If mario is able to L cancel, his lag is reduced, and thus jiggly puffs down b is unlikely to land, placing point on the delay. That's not to say advanced tactics don't created unbalances, but none the less advanced tactics place a player in a better position to beat a player using cheaper strategies or characters. As stated, advantages still remain; Pichu is less likely to beat a fox who can effectively shffl than one who can not. Still, if the pichu can time his advanced tactics better, he will certainly win the match. Whereas without advanced tactics, the fox could simply spam certain attacks, or break out the c-stick if he wanted to be really cheap about it.
Either way, don't expect advanced tactics to just go away. Players will always find new ways to "abuse" the physics of the game, and others will have to adjust accordingly, or be metaphorically weeded out by Smash Bro's evolution. (I'm a casual player by the way, learning advanced tactics isn't hard) |

Yeah. It wasn't made up just to try and insult people, that's for sure.

Are you serious? The fact that he even said that "Oh you must suck at the game" was insulting.
I don't like glitches/bugs, and I don't like how people abuse them. The smash lineup has always been a fun experience for me, and Its safe to say that I'm above average at the game. Wavedashing is pathetic, and to see a whole forum dedicated to the smash series being pissed because a bug got fixed is saddening. |

its not hard at all. And im pretty sure it got fixed.
Also, for those who dislike the items, I think the smashball is an item. Not sure. |

Its safe to say more than half of the guys in my school have a gen console. Halo seems to be rather popular here, due to its overhyping.
