I want to fix up SkyWurm (it needs to be brought up to BYOND's current capabilities, and then needs more content, like different levels, boss fights, etc.)
I may now die a happy man.

I don't program much now. But I'd also like to bring LineWalk (Cave Dwellers) up to BYOND's current capabilities. Native pixel movement and the new mouse feature should certainly speed things up. Additinally, I'd say I'm a better programmer now than I was in 2008 haha.
I've been working on LW2s "engine" for the past few days, but I then bought GTA V... and having a new job doesn't help. So we will see! |
I've been fiddiling with this(Just the site where I post my updates). Still a long way to go but i'll eventually have it where I want it.

Currently, I'm working on polishing up my BYOND v500 contest entry into something a little more complete than I managed to make it for the contest.
After that, I'm not entirely sure what I want to work on, but there's this list of possibilities:
1) I want to fix up SkyWurm (it needs to be brought up to BYOND's current capabilities, and then needs more content, like different levels, boss fights, etc.)
2) I'd also like to fix up High Seas.
3) At some point, I'd even like to fix up DBTC (for who? I guess just myself...lol but since this can't really see public promotion, it's on the furthest back of back burners)
4) After I wrapped up my latest update to Murder Mansion (which I'm a bit burned out on currently, but also still needs more work at some point), I picked up work on a project that I started years ago and never really got far with. So I'll likely be getting back to it. It's a little round-based 4-player competitive game, that currently looks like this:
5) Also in my collection of "projects that have been started long ago, but left to collect dust", are the following titles (I'll leave it up to you to guess what each one might be): "Battlement", "Gladiatronics", and "RPG". Any of which are candidates to be next in line. (I'm leaning towards "Battlement")
6) I'd also like to one day grab myself a nice rip source (preferably DBZ, but perhaps Naruto; though I know so little about the source material, I'd have to do a ton of research), and fix it up into something that actually works...lol Mostly just for the "fun" (punishment?) of fixing something that is so broken.
7) I'd also like to offer my services on some sort of collaboration. In the back of my mind I've got the notion to look through Classified ads and find someone to help out (probably with graphics, but maybe even programming) I just need to get my own stuff out of my system first so I can dedicate the time to someone else's project.
8) Not exactly game related, but a few weeks ago I started writing a BYOND Beginner "tutorial". The one that I keep mentioning I think the site needs (one that starts out with the assumption that the reader knows nothing of programming, and needs to be taught the very most basic fundamentals; it won't even contain any code until a few "chapters" in)
BIG dreams, BIG plans...small time.
