Delete the source you have, nothing good will come of it.

Go to http://www.byond.com/?page=StartCreating

Wow that was helpful Garthor...

Gaara you need to be more specific than that. What kind of training do you have? Since it's Naruto, is it logs or spamming jutsu training? Do you only meditate to train? Are there otherverbs that you have that trains stats? Answer these questions so people CAN help you...

Garthor already had.

Alright, I'm getting that "ignore" program my friend has and adding Kaioken to the list...

Garthor told me to delete everything once. Best advice ever

also, can I be on the list

Simply:
mob
var
narutolist[65535][65535][65535][65535][65535][65535][65535][65535][65535][65535][65535][65535][65535][65535][65535][65535][65535]

I'm kidding don't do that, that's from xxDarkWizardxx's old speedupyournaruto library.
You could of course try it and find out what it does but any serious byond developer knows the significance of the number 65535 :P

As another said, try learning to make your own stuff before using a rip source, in fact I wouldn't use on at all.

On the contrary, Lyn. Sometimes the best way to learn is to jump right into it. It's worked for me on several occassions for multiple things. Doesn't always work for everyone though ^_^

The analogue here is jumping into a pool of feces in order to learn how to swim. It doesn't teach you how to swim and is, overall, unpleasant and unhealthy.

*I just copied and pasted as you don't seem to understand...*

And my analogy is that sometimes its better to dive right into a pool to get the cold to pass quicker, rather than go in little by little and facing the cold every step you take.

You don't get that it's bad to use a source as a starting point, because none of them are good. If you don't know that, then get off the forums and stop impeding the proper resolution to the situation.

And that would be great if only people dove in and faced the cold alone. It gets annoying when they dive in to a ice-walled pool of liquid nitrogen and bother everyone else about how to convert it into a fiberglass hot tub because otherwise they can't get any chicks to swim with them. Then anything you change causes problems. If you change the walls to fiberglass, the cold cracks it. If you chang e the nitrogen to hot water the ice walls melt. If you put in the pump for the jets it freezes. You're better off building the thing from scratch.

I'm going to say, only jump in depending on your style. You don't know theirs so don't give them advice to jump in. You give them advice to find their way of learning.

Do you not see what Garthor means? Obviously Gaara doesn't know how to do anything with the code, as he obviously didn't code it himself.

You gotta look for the signs. If they don't know anything about the code they have, it's a bad thing.
Learn what you can from it, if anything, then throw it away. Nothing good can be made out of a rip.
In response to Dragonn
I beg to differ on this one. You can take a base code/esource and edit it into an original game, using it to learn in the process. Anything can happen with an already made game. It's like taking the Warcraft 3 game engine and making it into a Naruto game, Bleach game, etc. You'd know the maker used a rip, but it isn't a rip at the same time.
