Well I have been messing With Skins for a long time after I had Read Lummox JR's Guide about Skins/Interfaces and I can't Thank Him Enough because it Has Come to so Much Use for what I am Preparing and I Thank Him Again. Anyhow, I have another Issue at this time which Is Possibly Something that I had missed out of the Guide but Im here to Clear it for myself.
The Question Is how does one who creates another Window in an Interface file center the window. For Example I have 2 Windows, Window A and B and A is the Main Window and B is an extra window used for alerts how do I center B when it pops up because normally for me it pops up on the top of the screen I want to center it. If there is no built-in way of doing this I presume we will have to work out the users screens width and height and with that information we can somehow locate a window.
Thanks in Advance.

*blink* I was going to post something about that, too. I figured it would be a useless post and didn't. Ooh, look. A useless post... Damn, I should have posted first! |
There is a way to do it, until you enter that window in the skin again. Just move it towards the center, and then click "Ok". Notice how the next time you open it, it will be in default position.
Now, open up DS and execute the window the way you coded it. See how it works. ~Duper |
Open the skin, open the respective window from the skin, then move that window by holding left-click on its titlebar (if titlebar is checked), and then move it towards the center. Then click "Ok". Then start up the game and try executing that window.
How's that sound now? |
For me it does. Message me on MSN and I'll show you. If you don't already have my MSN, here it is: [email protected]

The amount of unneeded capital letters in that post hurt my eyes.
