There a C++ language, but the notion of "C++ coding" doesn't make sense, really.

If OP is gonna defend "C++ coding" again, he should know you can't describe a verb with an adjective.

Technically it would be "Coding in C++" but "C++ coding" doesn't make sence,

Nor does sence..
result for: sence temple [ˈtempl] noun either of the flat parts of the head at the side of the forehead Example: The stone hit him on the temple. Don't ask me why it brought up temple. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/sence |

That's a moronic thing to try to explain a typo... It wasn't a typo, it was most likely a misspell, as you used 'c' instead of 's' (and not a random word in place of 'c'), so you were corrected, very similarly to the way the OP was corrected. It's not really moronic. :P Also, my point was that saying "coding in C++" is, also, still wrong, really. That word family of "code" does not refer to program's source code, it refers to 'encoded code' such as Morse code, ASCII code and the like (not 'source code'). BTW, the word can also be used as 'rules'/'standards' (such as 'ethics codes' and the like). The act of coding means turning something that is not coded into a code form (so 'coding' is similar/equivalent to 'encrypting', NOT 'programming'), ie converting a word to its equivalent in Morse code and the like. The usage of 'coding' to describe 'programming' is just slang. People (read: such as Lummox JR >_>) say often users of the proper word 'programming' would be more proficient than users of the wrong word 'coding' (as those would be newbies that are unaware of the proper term, etc). I actually don't think that saying is too accurate, but it does have considerable merit in it. It's not on purpose, but I ended up accidentally hijacking this thread, or more accurately changing its initial topic. >_> Oopsie. |
Search for info and demos on guilds/clans and parties/teams, since it's basically all the same thing. Naturally they have been discussed a lot in the past, you can also use the forum search.
There's no such thing as "C++ coding".
