As you all should know, the LHC has run at 10:28 this morning. I just hope a strangelet is never made.

And the LHC isn't planned to be doing collisions at full power for months from now. Anything that they see currently has already been done at other particle accelerators.

October 21st is when the first collision is scheduled (but that is from Wikipedia).

I am not worried about anything to be honest. I just thought the word "strangelet" was weird and have been wanting to say it all day.
