How do I terminate my byond membership? Also, would I get a refund? I have 307 days left on it but im unhappy because membership is losing perks that are being given to freebie members :| They are even giving out free memberships now. I dont think it was worth the $18 I payed x.x

I'm pretty sure you can't. The only membership perk for nonmembers is a blog that doesn't get much attention (nonmember blog posts don't go on the members page). Also, there are only going to be 20 memberships given out of the hundreds of people that have already voted! I think it's mostly so Tom can figure out if BYOND's typical age group changed. I'm in the majority, by the way. I feel special!

Well how can I get it to be terminated then? They are expensive and I'd want atleast half a refund for mine x.x I even gifted some dude membership a month ago. 18 dollar is alot..

Did you read my post? I just said I'm pretty sure you can't, nor can you get it refunded to my knowledge. Contacting the BYOND staff, rather than posting here, would have been better, by the way. You should still ask them; I can't be positive.

Well I had read the Terms of Service and it said that it can be terminated by me or the staff at any time and I could probably get a refund. I just wanted to know how I could do it myself.

If your Membership is terminated by yourself or the BYOND Staff, there is no obligation for a refund of any amount you have paid for the membership. In the event of termination, the BYOND Staff will determine whether you receive a partial, full, or no refund on your membership.
You might get a refund, but like I said, you have to contact them about it most likely. If you don't find anything in your membership options about it, at least. | |
