I host, and I host alot. And so, I have alot of players come onto my games and play, and they tend to multy key. This is not a problem for me, but I would however like to know when people are doing this so I know who are multy keying and can easily keep track of them. Especially since people like to use multy keys to spam servers, and use there other keys to trade with the original ones to help further them in the game.

I know that there are features you can make in game to allow this to be done through the game itself. But as a host I'm not always privy to telling the programmer what to add. So if Dream Daemon showed keys in the players tab like it does in the ban tab for the sticky ban feature, that would be really great. To show whatever the first key they logged on as, and then show a drop down box of any other keys they use, and/or perhaps there IP address, (Some games allow for IP ban but that might be pushing it.). I am sure that would not just help me but alot of other host as well who have similiar or different problems but could use this to find a better solution. Anyway, I just thought it might be an interesting new feature.

Any thoughts or ideas on the matter?
I think they said something about adding computer_id bans to the pager, which should resolve any multi-key related issues.

I dont mean just as a way of punishment, i used the ban feature as an example of how it could be done. I just like to idea of being able to group together the keys that are used by the saem person as a way to identify multy keying through DD. I mean, when I look in my players tab, it is giant. And since there are alot of people I know, that have 3+ keys(for god knows what reason), those who use more then one key on a game could be looped together, making that player key list shorter but also allowing DD host to see who is multy keying. this could also help with banning one specific key but allowing players to still use there others.

I think this could be used more as a host moderation power, with DD more for monitoring the players. And then has practical uses like with bans or in game punishments for multy keying. And if anything, it could just clean up the players tab alittle bit.
