I'm pretty much referencing this.
As I'm working on my project right now, I feel as though I'm running around my game (though, that may be my organization), and I feel as though this would be a GREAT feature. Code::Blocks & Notepad++ do it, and it's so nice.
I didn't see much feedback from a developer on the thread in question, so I figured I'd ask again.

I like the idea, but I don't much like the implementation suggested in that referenced post. I'd rather like to see something like firefox's tabs.

I agree, I was thinking in terms of N++, where it's tabbed along the top edge, or able to be put on the left side; either would be great, or both would be amazing. |
While it's not really any consolation right now, Crashed's DMIDE project supports this feature.
