Well the title says it all, about 80% of the time, that is the message I'd get when clicking a "Play Now"/"Download" link on the hubs. I am unaware if this is a common bug for more people than me, or just me who is experiencing it, so I'd rather post here and gain some feedback on it before taking it to the tracker.

Anyone else experiencing this?
What browser are you using, and on what operating system?

Firefox on Windows 7.
I have similar issues that can't be solved with a pager restart, so it's never been much of a problem for me.

Yep, I kinda got used to it when it wasn't somthing that useful as gaming, but when developing I usually want to grab a library, and this issue really does stop me, even a restart doesn't help, like you said.
During the time you suffer issues, what happens if you ping the BYOND hub server?

Happens to me all the time too. Way more frequently than ever before just recently. It's getting annoying.

Can you be more specific? If a particular BYOND software release (such as v.472) escalated this problem, then that is obviously pretty relevant and would give us something to investigate.

Sorry, I can't really pinpoint what release started it. It's always happened once in awhile. Just recently it started happen more than usual. I think the pager always had trouble reconnecting after the connection was lost. Before I think it was just my failure of a netgear router always losing connection and the pager not reconnecting. Now it's as if the pager is losing its own connection. Maybe that was always the case, though, and now it's just more frequent. I really don't know. Before 472 is the most accurate I can give you unless I tested each version for hours and waited for it to not work.

So you think the problem was not as big before 472, or it was a big problem sometime before 472?
In response to Tom
The problem started from either 471 or lower, I am pretty sure of that.

I am actually on a shoddy connection now; my computer has disconnected and reconnected multiple times in the last hour.

I have to say that I have not gotten the message in question, but rather my pager does nothing when trying to launch a game from the hub.

For me it's been a issue since somewhere on 460+ not too acurate, but it'd happen every once in a while which is normal, but now it happens more or less every time. :/
I've reported this issue in more detail on the bug tracker.

If anyone has any more information, please reply to the report. Thanks.

That link takes you to file a new report. Plus I already linked to a related tracker issue from this topic http://www.byond.com/members/ DreamMakers?command=view_tracker_issue&tracker_issue=1896

We have been investigating this and have handed some debugging builds off to a few testers experiencing the problem. We'll release a build the moment we have a solution.
