Any changes to the browser control?

Out of the blue, all my browser controls are acting funny.
Things like the controls width/height are suddenly different, I'm missing scroll bars on some pages. I'm wondering if a setting on my system is affecting the controls behavior? I thought BYOND had us locked into IE6 behavior!? Did anything change?

I think it just uses whatever version of IE you have...

I haven't changed my IE version from 8 and I don't recall seeing any IE updates. I quickly checked my windows updates and there haven't been any recent updates to IE that I can see.
