Well, I have been around BYOND quite some time. I am disappointed to see such a great game not have a player base. I am looking for people interested in espionage games, and are intrigued into such things as working as a covert agent. The game is quite fun if there is a steady player base, and people who can see a well developed game with a lot of heart and soul put into it. I and a few others are still around. I am willing to help anyone learning the game and direct you to the guide that will help you as well. I work a lot I spend my spare time doing pixel art and reviving the player base for MLaaS. If people are willing to learn the game become a dedicated fan of the game I will hold a referral contest where if you can find dedicated players you will receive a year of gold subscription which will allow you some nifty benefits to the game. That will be the first prize winner; second place will receive training papers with 2k training points which will help you with stats and skills. I will ask that all entrees who is referring have the referred person contact me via e-mail at [email protected] I will require your byond key as I need to make a list and record who you referred and their time played on the game. So I know they will stick around hopefully not to benefit off me, but due to the fact they enjoy the game. I will also want you to e-mail who you referred and your byond key. This referral contest will not be held till the game has players dedicated with out any rewards. I will be on Friday at approx 1pm EST.
Here is a little about the game. There are five agencies which 2 require a gold membership to obtain entry into. The three you choose from each specialize in certain skills. You must be able to use your advantages to foil your enemies. The main thing you must learn is how to obtain tp (training points) which help you build your characters strengths. The game was created in 2001 and was created by Skysaw a former BYOND programmer, the game was recently taken over by a elder of the BYOND community and has lost motivation, and this is one of the main reasons I am holding this he would be more willing to work on this if the game would hold a steady player base. Apologies for getting off topic. As for more info join the game and learn the ropes of the game, and get to know a very beloved game of mine I enjoyed when I first started on BYOND. This game really shows what BYONd is about. It shows what it means to Build Your Own Net Dream. Thanks for reading hope to see you all Friday!

BUMP disappointed no views in this topic :(. No one these days really do not take interest into great original games it is a shame what byond has succumb to; or at least what the people have succumb to.

I think it was a great game for it's time - even worked on a copy of VirtualBox running TinyXP on my Linux box.
based on recent updates with BYOND, there could be good arguments presented to get Skysaw (or whoever is in charge of the development now), to give this classic an isometric facelift at the least. |
