No there is such a thing as witnesses and some of these cases have as many as 25 witnesses. It cannot count as hearsays or rumors. When you witness a child say detailed things about another deceased individual, it counts as evidence.

On the flip-side, nothing (reincarnation included) has been testably proven on those cases, and the confirmation bias issues remain, yet to be addressed by further experimentation and analysis, clouding the validity of the evidence collected in his cases in the first place.
What you don't have, is a strong enough body of evidence in favour of the theory, so .. it doesn't make rational sense to hold it as a truth. |

But when you lead the child on questions about that, and don't test a counter-case to see if they are leading off your questioning, you have weak, admissible evidence.

So, Westboro Baptist Church's members under the age of 5 are solid evidence that God hates homosexuals, minorities, Jews, and basically everyone but them?

What hasn't been testable proven? Come on confirmation bias? Stevenson did everything scientifically and looked at all alternatives. There is no other alternative. This has been published in peer-reviewed papers and skeptics and scholars alike say this is true evidence for reincarnation. 3000 cases is strong enough to have a belief in reincarnation. Everything points to it.

No one led the children the questions.

Any child that says something detailed can instantly be called in as sufficient evidence to prove a stupid argument.

The problem with Atheism is that it doesn't come with any special abilities. Which is why I subscribed to Scientology.
You see, when you invest in scientology, you are granted special powers over time. My favorites are mental telepathy and the ability to increase your body weight just by thinking about it. It also grants longevity, just look at Tom Cruise. He's 46 and still looks like a teenager. |
Top 100 cases are strong evidence for reincarnation. Others may be too weak cases to be of any value. Its the strong ones that matter.

Children providing very detailed memories of past lives that is later verified means something big.
|
"In only 11 of the 1,111 cases Ransom looked at had there been no contact between the families of the deceased and of the child before the interview"
That alone brings up a massive red-flag, and introduces obvious doubts about the testimony collected from the children in those cases. Similarly, your sample size is 7 billion, okay. To make a claim on a theory that we all undergo, as a matter of course, a process of reincarnation, requires more than 3000 cases across 40 years, even if those 3000 held on their own merit. The scale of the phenomenon being asserted, and the evidence collected, don't tie up. |
Children are very easy to accidentally lead without intending to. See, for example, this case.

There are some diseases as rare as only a few thousand people have them. Doesn't mean the rare disease doesn't exist. So just like the rare disease could be on someone, a person may be able to remember their past lives. 3000 cases is many enough to consider.

Reincarnation, afterlife, psychic abilities and God.

You're asserting we all undergo reincarnation, if I understood correctly, so no, 3000 is not enough to consider over 40 years with a sample size of 7 billion.

Notice Dariuc hasn't made any responses to anyone yet? This is a master troll at work. Say something controversial, grab your microwave popcorn, and just watch and laugh as everyone babbles on about some useless topic people can never agree on.
You've done well, my son. |

I never said we all reincarnate. I don't know that. Maybe only some of us reincarnate.

Maybe some of us?
What are you asserting here? |
