I have my own server I can host it for now; in the future if the user base grows large and the game is proven to handle masses of people I might need something better than my webserver, though.
Feel free to sign up on the website (can be found on the Hub) and read all about it. |
Is it Pondera you speak of? looks and sounds great! I'd love to see a video or screenshot or could I help test it?

If anyone is interested in free website hosting - http://www.byond.com/forum/?post=1290307

Sure, like I mentioned just register on the website and keep an eye out on the Link Inactive for when it changes to Link Active (or just watch the byond hub/favorite it) and join when it is up. The website is: http://pondera.aerproductions.com I'm a one man crew so things don't go as fast as in multi-person teams. |
Very far from alpha still but... http://www.legendsonline.com/

You have to hurry up on this :P

These two games look respectable. By posting on this thread, you better have a way to contribute!

Just wanted to mention that I have a backup plan for a redux version of the game just in case the large world style of play lags byond too much.

I don't think we're anywhere near a point where we should be giving up. If the donations can even just hold things together for a few months, that may be plenty; those games posted above may come. Plus, I don't want to call them out randomly, but I know of at least three games that could be a pretty big bump and each of them might become ready; though two are much more likely than the third.
I'm also working hard on developing as well. I'm getting very into working on 'small scale' games that can be released while I work on something bigger, and 'better'. Now, I don't know how that'll go yet; I know everyone around here doesn't look forward to anything till its released, and that's fine; I'm just sayin' the motivation is stretching further than donations and hope should still remain present. There has to be a way. There just has to. |

It certainly is going to need a lot of testing and being an alpha there is plenty to add and refine.
I am one of those "poor people" that Seymour speaks of but if I ever have some spare cash on the card I will toss some your way Tom, just for the compiler on its own thread and the pager alone.
