You should receive an e-mail from BYOND saying that you received a membership, and from who.

gosh all im saying is that byond doesnt need to force people to buy byond membership, when i bought it anyway
|
Well ... it does, because not enough people bought it, hence Tom's been working elsewhere to fund BYOND for the last 2 years? I mean if you've been buying it anyway, great! But not enough other people have.

Make someone make a game? That's not going to be possible unless you pay someone, which has already been established as not feasible.

Also, how do I find out who bought me it? Your screen name is genius. If you weren't already a member, I'd buy you a membership. |

People make games for themselves (There may be some discrepancy about that) but also getting the Byond community to produce a game together is also something which would be a hell of an achievement and I don't see a capable leader who can unite enough people for that.
Bumble you make it sound like it's easy to force someone to make a Game for you, unless there's somthing in it for them, or you're really lucky. I don't think you're going to get anyone to make a game for you.. Unless you pay them, but as Albro said, That's not really reliable or feasible. As Stephen and Albro have both said, we just can't force people to make games unless they want to, but that's not an easy task, I believe Eternia is probably the most successful game with that kind of theory, but that spent thousands of dollars to create, which Very few people can even pretend to afford here. |
