Buying Memberships: Advice.

Buying Byond memberships for the people and for Byond.

As most people know this is something I do on an on and off basis It's usually at random or for people who are active community users.


My current problem is I've ran out of membership candidates whom I think will stick around to make the most of them. There's bound to be people I've forgotten about as well though.

So I would like either some suggestions or volunteers lol.

Preferably not already a Byond member.
Is part of the community and likely to use the membership features.
They are a nice deserving person - hopefully not trolls, though i do like some.. but nah.
Other possible reasons.


There's no guarantee I'll buy anyone membership in particular, but this will help me out with choosing and it should help whoever i end up buying one for. :)

There is me... I might not look active though cause I only posted on a naruto post really. X_X

Also trying to learn programming and looking into learning pixel art further so I can make a game on my own :X

I'm already a member, but mine expires in 24 days and I won't be able to buy another for myself until fall or later. I don't expect it, just thought I'd take the opportunity to let you know since you asked. Anything would be greatly appreciated, and helps me out along with BYOND.

My membership is ending in a couple days it would be nice if you could give me 6 months membership. I know I have membership already but I do use my membership for a lot of reasons such as creations of new original games which I am currently working on but is planned to release in the future(after membership)because it's hard to find a good game name and + if I make it before it would mean I can't change hubpath. But if not possible you could buy it for another member in Byond, Aslong as it helps BYOND then it's not a problem for me ^_^.

P.S. Thanks for being so generous to the BYOND community.

Do not really care if I get membership or not, just giving it a try since it will expire in the following days.
I'd bet you have already seen how active on the forums I am, most likely around Developer/BYOND Help forums.

Why not hold a game making contest with the membership as the prize, where only amateur developers may participate?

The amateur dev team to develop the best game in (whatever length of time) gets the membership, thus enabling the game to be published under a hub!

Just throwing ideas out there. I'm a member myself already, so, don't worry about me! :)

@ Gooseheadded Thanks Goose, I've seen a lot of contests held and ran on the site over time, and there's a lot I'm not happy with, and then there's contests people do for hundreds of dollars which didn't go to plan either.
So it's alright, I'm used to plucking people out of the air, I'm happier if i now get to see more people from the community and hear their storys.

I sometimes buy anywhere between 2 - 20 memberships a month so this would not be very suitable for me, Though I think I've already exceeded 20 memberships this month, next month will be a bit more reserved and only a handful more for this month.

hmmm... I would probably say that Wanabe should get one (if he hasnt already gotten one, havnt spoken to him in ages)He's a pretty deserving person.

I would do the self centered thing and say myself but ive kinda been stuck dealing with alot of bullshit IRL -.- abusive family

SSX (Super Saiyan X) has only a few days of membership left.

Who knows what he'd do with another one. Maybe make more interactive balls!

thank you teka, you set a good example of character of what people should be like.

:( but I still think wanabe deserves it more than myself, since im rarely on due to family issues but I will try to use the membership as much as I can.

I'm sure he could apply for it if need be, but no not in general ATHK :), Nadrew is a special case and has been involved with the Software and developing, even though little of his input was used he's up there with the big guys standing above me :( lol.
