Read my above postings. I've touched on everything you've said already.

Look, instead of validating your reasoning of why my idea wouldn't work in your project, you jumped right into a flame war, which honestly took me by surprise.

I'm not here to berate your ability as a designer, I was simply putting forth an idea that maybe you hadn't thought of yet. Something to let you mull over in your head for a minute. I actually tried being fun and mildly humorous with the "drinking game." If you don't like Blizzard, that's fine, I can't make you like them.

It happens that Blizzard has plenty of good ideas that make it ideal for many projects. I take much inspiration from them as developers. I read many of their dev journals from employees, I find them fascinating and informing.

As for my previous comment toward you, I do apologize, it was childish and I could have handled it much better.

I think the problem is that you just don't want to take the time to create new, exciting dungeons for your end-game players to enjoy. I know BYOND isn't a super strong platform, but many people do underestimate what it's capable of.

Yeah, your post was a fine piece of critique and should be put in as a example on how to make a acceptable post on BYOND. Everyone should make post just like this.

I didn't 'jump into a flame war'; I responded to your insults instead of validating what you said, mostly because of the insulting remarks due to assumptions that you have no ground for; but also because I thought it common sense that the mobs that scale would have abilities that scaled. I know I've also touched on this somewhere.

Okay, I honestly didn't mean for that section to sound as rude as it did. I wasn't insinuating that you were being lazy. I do apologize, however. I have a tendency for things to come out a little more blunt than anticipated.

What I meant was that you expect the engine to be incapable of carrying many instances of large, high-end dungeons, which is a perfectly reasonable concern. I made an assumption that was poorly calculated, and I do apologize.
Maybe you could do it where if the avg of group level is >= to 5 no one in group gets xp. However, you could have a ggroup of a few high levvels and 1 low levvel and it still pass
