has anybody ever discussed this before? i'm finding it kinda annoying that people don't tell a coder or iconer that they're hiring what they're doing in the post.
e.g.
im looking for a coder for my new game, its a sci fi game and i'll pay u a fiver
before i get involved, i want to know what the game is aboot
am i being too fussy?

You can, it just goes to their pager, is the idea. If this hasn't been working out as planned, that would be a bug, and could do with being reported as so.

Of course, such an ideology could possibly hurt your ability of attracting talent. Fortunately, you can simply toss a person a page and ask for more information. If they refuse to provide you with any, move on.
