I was going to do that if I could find a more appealing font to use. =/ Couldnt really find anything good.

I think the logo you've got right now is interesting enough to hold it's own.
If you keep the overlay filter while reducing the opacity then crop it so the logo keeps the colors from the background you would have a really amazing logo. |

http://www.dafont.com/ TMA has a pretty good idea going, but I think a better font could work wonders. I use that site for all my font needs, and I really think you can find something good there.
It may pull up some stupid survey or you're a winner thing, it just started that lately, but if it does just google dafont, and you can click the link to get straight to the website. |
The problem I have with dafont and other font websites is that you need to pay to use them commercially. (Youtube, Games, TV and etc)

Ah, true. I forgot about that, because I've gotten into the habit of sticking with the ones that are freeware whenever dealing with something that might pull income in.
|
Yeah, I just recently found out that not all of the fonts on dafont are free and I was using them for a lot of occasions, granted it was personal use, not commercial, and eventually I did use a font commercially and I got in trouble with youtube, so I didn't understand why I was getting flagged.

That looks a lot better except the pixelation on the logo is very distracting and annoying. The font is also hard to read.

I made a lot of KH banners and such as practice on Photoshop. I found it easiest to just get a copy of the KH heart image from google, and then use the KH font from dafonts.
This allowed me to duplicate the appearance smoothly, or even add my own twists and make it look even nicer. I can't recall of the fonts freeware, but can't make money off of anime anyway so should be fine. |

Hm. Try experimenting with effects and such then. You could use blur, blur more, and such on the heart layer to try to make it smoother, or you could just try satin or gradient.
There are a number of effects you can do, some changing it a bit, others making it more your own. It's all pretty simple. If you used the dafont KH text, I am really not sure how it got so odd but you can probably fix that with a little transparency, some of the things I mentioned for the heart, etc etc. Just toy with it a bit. Trial and error. Remember, it doesn't need to look exactly like KH; you can make it your own a little. They changed the colors and such for each game, anyway, so really all you need are the shapes which you have. |

there's absolutely nothing artistic or skillful about anything you've done here. you took internet pictures and poorly mashed them onto a canvas in photoshop. I know what I did and I never said I didnt Im just doing the things we have learned so far in my Computer Graphics class. Im just trying to better the skills that Ive already learned as we move on in the class. |
Unless you know how to use photoshop's more advanced tools to clean up and revive these pictures you've used, scrap them. Somewhere along the line they were destroyed, because the stocks aren't any good now. The result of your creation has a lot to do with the images you decide to use in it. Get better stock and your work will look much better.
If you're in a graphics class that's teaching you Photoshop, good for you. I went to college for Graphic Design and my Photoshop class taught a lot, so you'll undoubtedly get better if you stick with it. Don't be afraid to try, as the new experiences open your eyes to improvements. Keep trying! |

Move the char so the left arm doesn't show, it may make it look much better. other than that, it does look really good.... wow..I post on your designs and stuff.. like ages later.

It's reverse for a game, notice how a lot of recent games have their title and no characters on the game screen. Dragon's Dogma, Gears of War 3, Halo 3, etc. If you make the title screen with a decent, story related background, you will be fine in just using "2WORLDS", "Press Space to begin" and the background.
