How does this character creation look so far? I'm making it for my game. Trying to make it look good, and cool. Any ideas?

Try Centering it all.

Well right now it just looks sloppy and empty. Add things then ask for C&C to add things. Cause the majority of C&C and suggestions would be based on Layout/looks.

The numbers should be right-aligned. Having them one space away from the text makes me feel like I'm programming. While programming isn't a bad thing, it's not what I would play a game for.

Well, you should probably add more before asking for feed back..
but what I can say is to flip the positions of "-" and "+", seeing how it's usually assumed that higher is towards the right... just my opinion... |

Edited Specialist and changed it to Gain 1 extra point, and needs less EXP to level up.

Tab the stat values in after "Health","Energy", etc. It's current look is sloppy and like Albro said, it makes me feel like im programming. You have plenty of room to tab them in so they're aligned anyway.
Add in some extra hotkeys/make the Controls display smaller, right now it looks odd due to the extra space thats unused. Move the preview into a centered view above the class selection, it being all the way to the side looks odd. Center the Character creations and buttons message. Change the message about the buttons to - " Press the & \/ > < keys to change the previews direction" Give name/element/stat selection a background like the Hair selection. Give class select a background. Maybe give the preview a background instead of leaving it on black? Use the extra space for a rules message. Just a few suggestions, use the ones you like. |
Credits usually don't go on a character creation screen. What you could do is change that to a "Skills" box and show the player what type of skills they're going to have.
For example, when they select Warrior, it'll show things like "Sword Strike" or "Shield Throw" with a short description of what it actually does. I know it says hand-to-hand combat - I was just giving an example. Credits are completely unrelated to character creation so it's very random to have them there. Similar to how Spirit Age had links to Facebook on theirs. |

Better some what? Somewhat, you didn't really change anything involving the placements that were needed for the top message and such. I have 3 more suggestions based on this update. -Space "Health" in one more time, its not aligned with the rest. -Align the Credits names and start of the contributions with each other. -Add a background to class selection. |
For some reason, it won't let me align the Health for some reason :/ & I don't want a box around the Proficiency selections.
|
Then reprogram it so it lets you.
It looks sloppy with a major part not having a background. |

That skill box sounds pretty good, but the big problem is.... Only fire and water has a skill, and it's just an Element Ball ;/ I'm lacking icons right now. BIG TIME.
