Hi all,

To summarize briefly the main points below. I want Kai to have a higher decline, yet have their skills COST decline. And I want Demons to have a lower decline, but have their skills enable decline-growth.

Kai:
- Decline increase,
- Kai Teleport takes maximum energy.
- Revive takes 10 years off their decline.

Kai should be givers.

Demon:
- Decline decrease,
- Demon Teleport takes decline.
- Revive takes Decline from the Soul and Corrupts their Alignment.
-- Can provide a percentage of their power to others, in exchange for decline.

Demons should be takers, not sitters. Let them prosper through choas, theft, and general demonic actions. They should be promoted to steal from others, to benefit and enable others through corrupt ceremonies.

The path of evil should be an easy enablement, an easy revival, but at a cost. The user shouldn't be gated with the negativities of the revive, but rather the user should be.

In conclusion Kai should be the slower route, with no side-affects for the recipients of revive, or enablement's. And the Demons should be a quicker alternative route, that harms the soul.

DBG Decline Absorb is an amazing unique skill that is only in Genesis and Dragon Ball Generations. It makes Demons unique, and gives them a foundation to act upon.
Roleplay Tenkaichi has a neat Demon mechanic that provides the Demon with the ability to write up a 'Soul Contract'.

Which leads me to suggest something along the lines of a 'deal' between the Demon and the Soul. Perhaps they pay X decline for a revival.

Of course, we need cooldowns for revival on both Kai and Demons.
I disagree with everything in these suggestions lol

Kais shouldn't be reviving people willy nilly, We don't need a situation where a Kai is reviving 50 souls and acting like that's a normal thing to do.

Demons, the whole reason they have the ability to revive, is because it's a part of what Demons are. They're not meant to take, but they're meant to use people. A soul has something you want like technology, Maybe offer that soul a way to get his body back (Revive) in return for said item. Or maybe the soul wants to go back to the planet they came from, they ask the Demon to teleport them back, The demon does so, but suffers a lose of power (50% Power level, Stats, and possibly health) to do it.

Demons TLDR shouldn't be punished for using their skills. HOWEVER, I feel their skills should be punishing to use, Demon teleport should weaken the demon for an amount of time. Demon revive should do the same (with a very small chance of death)

Kais on the other hand should be the opposite, they shouldn't be giving things to try and get an advantage. They shouldn't offer souls a revive for the sake of getting something. That's why their revival skill should work off having a large chance of killing the kai, that slowly decreases over time, only raising if a Kai uses the said skill, meaning if you wanted to be that Kai that gives everybody and their uncle a revive, you could, but you'd most likely die doing it.
Give certain skills cooldowns.

Kai should revive those that deem themselves worthy. Which is a more intense route to revival whereas Demons should revive to gain something.

Reviving over being given X technology is a little odd in my books. Why can't Demons revive using the Soul's decline? Literally corrupting them for an easy, quicker alternative to Kai.

The way everyone wants Demons to be nerfed via revive is odd. Put it behind a cooldown, and have it be beneficial to Demons and not-so-beneficial to the Souls.

At the current moment people are just remaking / intend to remake if they die. Knowing that they'll never be revived - therefore stagnating the game as people eventually quit.

Revive should be promoted, but placed behind a hefty cooldown so that the use of it is selective and with reason.
What is your ideal skill handling.

Actually if anything, the Demon "nerf" to their stats would be a buff. Imagine being able to use your demon skills, without needing to give up a resource that you need to be able to live on your character longer. That's a straight buff. I'd rather be nerfed for a 2-3 hours, than have to cost eating my decline to use my skills.
I only agree with Pink.
Suggestion closed. In hindsight, there are better ways to handle AL.
