Basically an attempt to implement SS13's round/job structure and mechanical depth/complexity from scratch, with a fantasy setting instead of spess. Not quite a roguelike, more like a Mafia game hosted on a Minecraft server at this point.

I am currently working on a pvp/base defense game. I haven't come up with a title yet, but all the characters will be various RPG-type classes. It's still pretty early, but most of the basic engine is done. I'm getting to the point where I'm gonna start searching for an artist to work on it with me, my placeholder graphics are getting a little old now lol.

Right not it's not entirely modular since I need to figure out more math behind it and it wouldn't be entirely plug'n'play depending on how you're setting up resolution and whatnot but it's getting there. It's roughly about 170 lines of code total. Gonna slim down a bit and then add some more too. Right now I just made it out of thin air one night and then decided to work on it more and more until I realized I could make a decent HUD system out of it. So my plan now is to convert the, what used to be just a simple alert box for NPC dialog, into a fully modular HUD system for inventory, chat, alerts, etc. |
