the bombs could leave a trail when they move so that it makes their movement path less all over the place for the player I was thinking about that, but what kind of trails? I'm having a tough time deciding on what they'd look like. |

Its the little shits from Phantasy Star online EPll Yes. Here are 5 whole internets. Playing around with the trails so far I'm liking it. I'm just using a single pixel and stretching it once per tick to match one location to another, and then fading the color, then the alpha. I'm not liking how aliased it looks though... |

Yay :D!!!
I dont know much about uhh progammeh programmert programming! But why not just give the grenades a north pole and when it bounces the north pole becomes the point in where the grenade is moving all the while there is a south pole which is opposite of the north pole and make a smoke particle effect that fires from the south pole :D? If thats even possible. |

I'm not liking how aliased it looks though... You can cut down on the aliasing by making it 8x8 pixels and then scaling it down using matrices with the scaling trick I showed off earlier in this thread. |
Forgot to set a blend mode for it. BLEND_ADD and switching the color to a light yellow instead of white. As well, I'm using a different icon per Ter13's suggestion. Though, instead of a single pixel, it's 3x3 and it is all white with alpha of 255 at the center, 150 on the cardinals and 75 on the diagonals. Looks nice. This also shows what happens when you kill one, they crash and release three grenades on impact while also exploding. I also realized that they're likely inspired by Junkrat in terms of combat style. (I have a blue trail because I accidentally hit the test button, please disregard). |
The blue trail looks sweet. It makes him look super charged. Super Saiyan WALL-E if you will.

New enemy type.
These will appear in more than just the Facility area, and they'll vary slightly.
I made sure to have them realistically challenging at first as well, rather than making them easy and then upping the difficulty later.
Internet points to whoever can guess where the inspiration came from.
