I've made a bit more progress with no internet kek for a few days.



Battles have been added along with drops and the ability to drop up to 12 items at a time on the ground that will fill up the bottom bar and vanish after 20 seconds.

Leveling for melee stats is in.
Equipment works.

I'm currently working on trading.

The Rock attacks look a little out of whack with the others. Like, Level 3 of the others all looks like a sort of tower, or explosion (aside from wind), so you'd think level 2 rock should be third. Level 4 looks like a rain or many many attacks of the type, so you'd think rock level 5 would be level 4. Idk fam.

I pretty much agree. Looks like it should be 1, 4, 2, 5, 3 to me. I was a fan of the text only stuff honestly, but I do really like how this looks. Maybe you'll convert me ;)

I want my pixel movement to feel more fluid.
I've been playing crawl lately and I love the slide feel of the controls, but I don't really have a solid idea of how to achieve this. Any ideas?

What's your frame rate and step size? Start another thread in Dev Help. Post some details. A number of people would probably pop in to assist.

Wut.. you do realize that Crawl isn't his game, right? he just used it as an example as to how he eventually wants his game's movement to look like. Also, Akto IS an artist ._.

oh, uh, I know crawl but I was referring to what I thought was his game "Purgatory" and assumed it was in context of his ask.
To be clear, I think Purgatory is a super sexy looking game. It has a gross ton of appeal.
