It basically means to assume true information based on existing patters. The pattern 2, 4, 6, 8, _ for example is extrapolation. I don't have to tell you how to carry on the sequence. | |

Intelligence is not the same as knowledge. You didn't know what extrapolate meant, and now you do! Now you're a bit better in the knowledge department. Unfortunately, one doesn't just improve their intelligence - you're born with that.
