Please make it walkTo() so I can sleep tonight I'm unsure why I am the one who has to make it walkTo(). :P You have the code. And the walkTo() procedure is a part of the Demo file. This all came from C# by the way. So methods (procedures) are named with Pascal Casing. Sorry. It's a habit since I'm mainly working in C# currently. |

Uh... Kozuma, not sure why you took offense at that when you explicitly told me on skype that your inspiration for Elora was Runescape as a text MUD.

So why does it matter where original games are getting their inspiration from? How about we all shut up and not ruin a good thread with more petty in-fighting.

Yes, the name of the game was updated though to "Project Z.T.A.N.I"
For now it's just a basic multiplayer map for the alpha release, which will be available sometime soon. The other map I plan to work on will be a dock/shipyard. |

Will you add environmental type things?
For example I route my enemy and now they make a sharp turn cutting off your view from themi would then shoot the wall and cause it to collapse onto the enemy. <----- Or Maybe if i have a certain type of track equipped to my tank when i move at full speed it causes dust to kick up into the air that i can hide allies or myself in for surprise attacks. And maybe you can have like dust storms roll across the map that limits the view of everyone in it and maybe cause technical problems to some tanks :P? |

Environmental effects like dust storms and rain will be in, and there will be area hazards like explosives strewn about the area.
Dust Storms will disable the radar and make it difficult to see. Rain will reduce traction, making it slower to get to top speed, and harder to stop afterward, Lightning strikes will deal energy damage to vehicles when it strikes, while also greatly lowering visibility for a moment. As for types of treads and the like, since the system I'm building will be based on being able to swap out parts, yes. I plan to make general parts that are available from an in-game shop using in-game currency, obtained from playing. The parts in the shop will be randomly generated and the shop will update every few hours. Each item will have a rarity. The rarer, the better. There will be chances of purchasing/obtaining parts that have special abilities. Then there will be some unique items which have very low to no variance in their values, while also having special effects. One I know for sure is going to be a Shield called Cracked Sash (based on the shield from Borderlands) which has very low recharge rate and capacity, lower than what's normally available from any other shield. Another example would be a cannon that, upon hitting an enemy, deals damage and then bounces to a second nearby enemy, where applicable. Stuff like that. The alpha is going to be a pretty basic multiplayer game though, so don't expect any of that for a few months. |
A little PVP Puzzle Battle game I just started. It is full of bugs so don't try to break it. If you want to test it out a little while I am at work it is hosted at: byond://74.79.137.10:4321 Controls + Rules: Arrow Keys to move Control to switch to abilities Enter to join and ready up the game Backspace to leave the game (This could be buggy so don't do it during game) Shift switches to Mage.. but mage is incomplete. Try to kill the opponent before the time runs out. |
Not sure if intentional, but uh... yeah.
