I just got hired as the backend website whatever dude at Barnes and Noble.

But that's not the point. The point is, Barnes and Noble has this incredible boob policy. Basically, any woman is allowed to come into our store and breastfeed anywhere they please. None of the staff or customers are allowed to tell them to stop or to go somewhere else and feed their children. The only thing you can do is cheer them on as they whip their melons out and handle their motherly business.

Some of the girls were looking disgruntled after the manager pointed that out to us during orientation. However, I have no problem with this policy. If a chick wants to wiggle her tits around and squirt milk everywhere, I think we should encourage those sorts of activities. After all, men get to walk around with their shirts off, why can't the girls?

LET IT ALL HANG OUT, LADIES.

But no, we don't actually expect anyone to walk into our bookstore and just start nursing their child. Just in the event that someone does, we have to leave them alone. I thought it was pretty funny and I had to contain my giggles during orientation so I wouldn't look like a 10 year old in front of everyone.
Lmao. Really? xD Hahaha.
llllooollll
...Why is this something they cover in orientation?
Because some employees do intervene, and it creates a fuss with customers, boob showing or otherwise.
Seriously though, you guys should've seen their faces.

The chick directly across from me looked exactly like this:

Meanwhile, I'm sitting at the back of the room like:

I live in Massachusetts where women are allowed to breastfeed anywhere in public. Yeah, Mass rules
Good for her. The only problem I see is that you have an issue with looking at a human body. Why don't you move to southern Afghanistan where women are still required to wear burqas?

Wouldn't make much a diff... In South Afghanistan @ a Barnes and Noble women are required to strip fully nude if breastfeeding a child.
Um...what?

You mean, you just enter book serial numbers, titles, categories and descriptions. Right?

Have fun with that "backend website whatever dude".
Whilst feeding an infant, mother boobs, lose their appeal though...

That isn't so bad since he's working on a tit friendly environment.

This guy gets it.

It's a butt friendly environment as well. You should see how tight my co-workers skirts are.

Actually the job description was pretty off. At the interview they told me I would be a backend website dude/consultant. However, I'm doing that as well as processing orders, updating the inventory of the store, packaging, and am also expected to help on the floor as well with helping people find/sell books, and stocking our general merchandise and clothing areas. Which is fine, I like doing a thousand different things, because the more they have me do the more I can load my resume with.

It also helps to work at a book store when you're writing a novel. 2 managers already said they're going to find a way to help me sell my book there when it's finished. I also have access to a crap ton of mangas here. We've got everything from Full Metal Alchemist to Attack on Titan. I just grab whichever one I feel like flipping through on my breaks. If we want to purchase them, we get a 35% discount which stacks with coupons and sale events as well. I can buy manga or any other book I need for dirt cheap.

It beats the crap out of my last job ( washing dishes and taking out garbage ). My managers don't breathe down my neck, they actually walk right past me like I don't even exist most of the time, which is exactly how I like it. Also, because I work at a B&N college, I'm actually working alongside a lot of college students, some of which are pretty damn hot. One of them looks exactly like a Victoria Secret model. I tried to be covert but unfortunately I think she caught me staring at her... assets. Instead of getting mad though, she introduced herself and shook my hand, so perhaps she wants the D? IDK. Anyway, we also have a Starbucks built into our store on the first floor, so immediate access to tea and cookies if I ever need it ( which is also all discounted by 30-35% ). Everyone also does their fair share of work. No lazies going on 2-hour lunch breaks or calling in sick every other day like my last job.

Basically what I'm saying is, if I haven't passed you yet, watch me catch up now.
