A bit of a dilema/ important question

i have the host files to a server, and not the source (im not sure if all of this is the correct way to call half the things im talking about because im new to creating my games and coding and what not) but, there is a notepad file that is a size 9782 KB, what exactly is that? when i open it, it shows a bunch of different symbols and some legible numbers or letters, i have seen letters in there in the order of PNG, and some dmi, so what i am asking is, what on earth is this? some sort of translated version of the source? if so how do i translate it back to legible readings in dream maker... im very confused, thanks for the help in advance

FireShadow90	Download Winzip. Then right click on the file that looks like the notead and click on open with. Then choose Winzip fron the choices. That should open the file in a zipped folder revealing the contents.

Vora	umm is there any other way? i cant pay for winzip im afraid =/

Vora	nope wrong again, i got the free version, i did what you said, it still didnt show any difference in the symbols it used, (theres a file like this in every byond enviroment) and i know it has something to do with the source, i just cant figure out how to change it into the source

Tiberath	I'm not following what you mean, can you provide a screen shot of the file you want to convert to something or other?

Tiberath	It appears the RSC file has been associated with Notepad for whatever reason. Don't worry about it. The file with the black and red icon is the one you need to launch to host the game. The other file is important too, it's just encrypted. It all has nothing to do with unzipping or zipping things. Just double click the "BYOND Executable" and everything should be peachy.
