Some other played and I were thinking about how we missed the old version. Before the zombie forest and colony, and before autofire. So we were just wondering that if you had an old version of the game with only FL raids, no zombie forest and colony, and f to shoot, could you maybe host it on another server?

Give us back the old version plz... i loved how i actually had to survive with a group... and not let the game shoot for me... and the fire ammo... adds like had a "hacked" feel to it

It's not just the autofire. We want the old teamwork feel of the game, now with only soloing the game seems like it might as well be 1-player. We just wish that we could play the old version again, we'll even host it ourselves if we can. We just miss the old version, when people worked in groups, and we looked out for more than just us, it felt like the game was more interactive, and if you needed to go AFK for a few seconds, your team would cover your back.
P.S. Nope, there are no goggles. Only flashlight. | |
Forcing teamwork on the game is somewhat of the goal. But I would never say any of the versions had it.

I am a veteran player and I've played the old versions.The newer versions have made things quite easier and I long for the thrill of the old control set up and no auto fire.Auto fire just lets the afkers breed.

Please Falacy, every player I've seen and asked about this mentioned something they missed in the old version. Whether it was night vision, or too much autofire and fire ammo, we all miss the old version. There has to be something you could do, right?

I'm not bringing back the old version, that's just retarded.
If people have actual ideas then they can post them for the next update. Something will already be done about auto fire. Fire ammo will probably be removed as well (1 upgrade for every class). The goggles were replaced with flash lights, and the new lighting system in general. If there's any legit complaint then they may be brought back. They were also somewhat removed because of the change in controls. Changing the raid locations is out of the question. I'd like to re-add sim stats, but with better meaning/management. And other things. As far as I can figure, factions (and building) would be the best possible update. I'd like to drop the CPU used by zombies, but that's not really possible on BYOND. | |
