Google Wave Invites go out Today

Sorry, there is no way for me to change it after I hit the "submit" button. So you used yours up on a wasted email address. If possible, you might want to just register that email address.

Wow, that was my bad, but I find it ridiculous that Google would let you throw the invite to a non G-Mail address in the first place seeing as it is a Google account only type thing. I also find it ridiculous that you sent that invite and G-Mail didn't catch that as my alternate address.

Google Wave is currently not strongly tied to your Google account. The address book, for example, does not use your universal Google address book. The address you get is also [email protected], not @gmail or @googlemail. I think, however, you can tie the account to your google account upon redeeming of your invite. I know mine was automatically created using my Google User name without asking me anything. So the only way I can see that working for non-Google addresses is it asking which account you want it tied to.

How long does it normally take to receive the invite? I could just be waiting for a letter in the mail.

Okay, so I still may get it regardless of using my Yahoo address...

Also, do you, or anyone else here, have any feedback on G-Wave itself?

Just checked this morning (to see that I received it as well they send them out at midnight on Friday?), a lot of the extensions seem to be broken on the school computers though. Haven't tried it on my laptop at home yet though.
