Battle System

Does anyone know how to add a battle system that makes it so that I go to my attack state even when if nobody is near me, I wanna have it like a smash bros game, you could punch the air, or if someone is right in front of your punch, they take damage.

Make a punch verb that doesn't require a mob to be near you when you press it.

I did that, its just I want to make it so it takes out damage from a mom that is right in front of the punch.
