Seymour and Simba's father dying are the only things that make me cry.

Which is the reason I have it as my forum icon. Jurassic Bark is my all-time favorite episode of Futurama, and the end of the episode is the closest I've ever come to crying from a TV show, or any form of media (though Luck of the Fryrish brought me about as close).

And please state one good reason why any creator deserves to be paid on here? Keep in mind that your money will probably never get refunded because once they get it they'll use it for some new clothes or anything not even related to their game. The only time I'd donate to a creator is for a shell server, but even those aren't so great all the time.

I thought someone had already explained it. I guess you either skipped the post or just didn't take it in. Allow me.

A dedicated user can spend a very, very long time making a delicate role playing experience. The fact that is 2D matters about as much as the price of eggs.

If someone spends months, and I mean months, working on an RPG. Balancing classes, each NPC created for a specific reason and what not; not even counting putting effort into spectacular graphics. Why shouldn't they receive compensation for their months, possibly years of hard work and dedication?

The creators take the money and use it on nothing but the game

I think this thread has expanded past what you do with your game.

DM

Complete lie. How are you using the money on the game if DM resources are free? If it was a shell server I could understand. Tiberath, I see what you are saying, surely there are really some really dedicated developers. However, if they wish to truly get money they deserve then they should accept donations, not force players to buy subscriptions. Before when developers were able to make money off anime based games.. They basically forced players to buy subscriptions by giving subscribers unfair advantages. That is still seen today except players who rank their games get unfair advantages. And Lt, if you are so stuck on having players pay to play your game or whatever, then at least take your game to a new level. We can all agree that the DM coding is somewhat limited. Kajika, creator of DMO, can not add anymore cards in his game due to coding restrictions. So if you really want to charge people for your games, then at least make sure you use higher level coding languages to ensure the game can always be improved further along with no limitations.

The point is we take the money and hire better staff, and buy shell servers please pay attention.
In response to QueenBitch
You utter fool! No developers are forcing anyone to pay to play their games! If someone doesn't think that a game is worth the money, they go do something else!
In response to Lt. Pain
Ignore the troll. Allow players to play some of your game for free and charge them for extra features. You won't know for sure if anyone will pay for sure until you try, right?

Right hence why i started this thread

What are you, a shallow, nineteen-year-old girl who got through school by playing off to the horny male teachers?

Knock it off, or expect a break from the boards. You know better than to throw insults around. (And that goes for everyone in this thread)
In response to Lt. Pain
Oh... yeah...

Well, you'll have to try it for yourself, as it seems that nothing constructive can come of this thread.

XD indeed but it did get big, and yet still had almost no info in it

If people like your game enough, they will pay. This has already been proven on BYOND in the past.

Did you ever mention what your game was?
