The video was sad for sure, but the thing that worries me most is the comments posted about it. Half of them call Japanese people sick and cruel, as if the entire country takes part in the brutal slaughter of dolphins.
On another note, I would bet a quarter pounder with cheese that most of the people who posted those comments don't even think about where their meat comes from. | |

Yeah, it's not like that's the only slaughterhouse/farm that's inhumane. That kind of stuff happens all the time all over the world, so it's a little ridiculous when people only worry about it when it's dolphins, seals, or something else that's cute or smart.

You're forgetting that not everywhere has humane methods for killing their livestock. Throat slitting is extremely common for all types of large livestock and large game.
Cows aren't smart, but at least they aren't tortured. Yes they are, especially outside the US, but torturing is being used pretty loose here. They don't slit their throats to torture them, they do it because it's efficient, not because they want them to be in pain at death. Unlike many kinds of livestock such as Chicken, the dolphins and fish aren't couped up in a little cage for years at a time. Under this notion, practically all livestock is tortured. It's all of humanity who's to blame. And stop saying "japs" like they're all like that, you sound like my grandpa. | |

I really don't get what your point is here. The comparison you've drawn between dolphins and jews (?) is irrelevent and meaningless- for one, people care about dolphins*.

You are all talking about different animals and how they are killed for food. Nobody has it worse than the lobster, no matter what you say. Lobsters are thrown into a boiling hot bowl until they are burned to death. Sometimes they even scream. It is disgusting (for all of you idiots, it is not a human scream, it lets out a long, loud screeching type noise. It is a lobster scream I guess >.>).
