Does the Wii have any plans for online multiplayer games, similar to XBOX Live?
Nintendo hates online play, which is ironic because Nintendo fans (such as myself) have no friends in real life.

D: Dang. I was really hoping for something online, like a Metroid or something. Nintendo, this is the first time you have ever made me cry! ;-;

He was being sarcastic.

By its very nature, I'm willing to bet that a significant quantity of Wii games will have over-the-'net playability.

MP3 is going to be single-player, though, AFAIK. Smash Bros. Brawl might end up being over the Internet, though, which will be cool beyond all reckoning.

Oh :P
I sucks with sarcasm over the internet ><;
Uhm...what does AFAIK mean? And yes, Brawl would be pretty neat, even though I still think they should've put Marina in there(Mischief Makers FTW!)

As Far As I Know.

I'm wondering what lag will do to online Brawl, but it should still rock.
Someone missed the memo on Wii Connect24
Yes it will have online multiplayerb ut I can't say it will be similar to live(I've never used live and Nintendo ahsn't said much). Pokemon Revolution will however be the first online game, and Super Smash Bros. Will be online. So far, none will be released until sometime in '07.

If you do a forum search for "Elation" I've actually a negative post count due to fact that I now have more total contentless-posts than I do content posts.

It's kind of flipped the other way and turned into anti-matter. I think that's what explains why a lot of my posts go missing- my anti-matter posts come into contact with the forum's matter and they both cancel eachother out.
It happens 'round about the time digitalmouse wakes up, so I'm willing to bet that's when most of the anti-matter is active.

Anyway, brawl will be cool if it's online, but matches between me and you won't be so smooth (and I'm not talking about lag, I'm talking about racial slurs ) =P I'll win regardless, because Link is the ultimate character!

Nintendo IS going to have online stuff. First of all, it comes with a little mini game built in where you can make a character to be in an online parade with others. So that confirms that an online option will be available.

I'd probably end up quitting out, I cannot tolerate racism at all(And I am white! :O). 'Tis a long story <<;

What? Kirby should die because its Pink!?!?!!

Where did you get that from!?
Kirby is the terrorist of SSB.
Suck them in, fall off the cliff and repeat :3*sucks at SSB games D:*

I use Marth, personally. Although Samus, Roy, and Ganondorf are also fun. I've been known to play as Mewtwo and Pikachu occasionally, too.

But I can't play Link anymore. I've lost my Link touch - I used to play as him when SSB first came out for the '64.

I want Metaknight. He looks like sheer, utter, awesomeness.

Wifi FTW. :D

I choose Marth too. His speed just kicks anyone's butt.

I like using Shiek/Princess Zelda. I used to rock with her, but...meh. I haven't played for a few years, so I suck at the game now D:

The heck? I use Marth almost exclusively. :P

Other than him, I also muse myself with Roy, Pikachu, and Young Link. In the first SSB, I was pretty exclusive to Link (if he wasn't so slow and such a poor aerial fighter, he might be higher on my SSBM list).

Hiead.Marth > Jp.Marth
That is all that matters, anyways. ;)

Speed is a unnecessary luxury; I learnt that from playing with my brother who plays as Ganon (ironic considering I play as Link). It's all about timing... if you charge your smash attack just slightly before hand there's no need to have a quick attack. ;)

As for aerial fighting, I've never had too many problems...Link's hurricane attack (B + up) is fairly powerful and his projectiles make for good bombing runs (literally) on opponents. :p

Personally I see Link as an all-around good fighter. Him and Samus pretty much share the same move-set, but he's a lot better closer up and against multiple opponents (saying that, his projectiles aren't nearly as strong as Samus's charged up laser and rockets :S). Samus has that awesome downwards attack thing that does a lot of damage, though.

Oh, really? When I get a Wii and get used to Brawl, I'm so taking you down.

I'm fairly good at Marth. I can finish Event Match 51 with him. Only other character I can do that with is Roy, and that's being cheap with Counter.

(Kirby was horribly broken in SSB. This should be recognised. Down+A in air for the KILL)
