I know, but the three processors would still most likely out power the two. I've pretty much went with AMD since the K6. They usually have a better performance for the price.

It depends if they use the three cores, if its anything like a normal computer, the second core is used much at all because programmers couldnt be bothered implementing it. Anyway with 3 cores the thing that you will be bottlenecked by is graphics. It doesnt matter if you have 16 cores, you'll be pulled down by another component eventually. Most games run fine on pc with just 2 cores running at about 2.8ghz

Its very simple.
All you need is: XBox 360: $300/$400 A computer case: $20 Powertools Lots of knowledge. Step 1. Take all of the Xbox 360 innards out. Step 2. Re-install the components inside of your computer case.(Don't try this at home, anybody.) Step 3. Put everything away. A PC that matches the specs of the Xbox 360 perfectly(And under $700.) Obviously, you can't run windows on it, but, I don't think that was the initial objective. =\ |

""Halo might be a pretty big title, but it's nowhere NEAR the size of Mario, Zelda, or a dozen of Nintendo's other titles."" Well not 1 game of each of the Mario,Zelda franchise, heck any GC reached the sells of halo alone not even the 1st one... Top 5 games(sales) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ List_of_best_selling_computer_and_video_games Xbox Halo 2 (7.75 million) Halo: Combat Evolved (6.61 million) Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell (3 million) Fable (2.39 million) Grand Theft Auto: Double Pack (2.26 million) PS2 Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec (14.36 million) Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (13.63 million) Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (13.44 million) Grand Theft Auto III (11.42 million) Final Fantasy X (7.93 million) GC Super Smash Bros. Well i also belive that the Wii will win in CONSOLE sales, but i keep hearing 'everyone is competing for GFx and its all about gameplay' makes me want to smack ninfans all day long x_X since nintendo has been 2 times better in the CPU category, about 25% more on the GPU category and about 8 MB of more RAM than the PS2, shoudnt it have more GFx than the ps2?Ok nintendo fans when you use that coment again dont use it towards Sony till like 1 year into the wii and ps3s life.Cause it will be the first year that Sony will have better hardware than nintendo. Have a nice day =P |

You are comparing GC to the other consoles which was sort of a flop(not that big, but still was), if you look at the stats for all the consoles
Bundled games * Super Mario Bros. (NES - 40.24 million) [citation needed] * Tetris (GB - 30.26 million) [citation needed] * Duck Hunt (NES - 28.31 million) [citation needed] * Super Mario World (SNES - 20.61 million) [citation needed] * Super Mario 64 (N64 - 11.89 million) [citation needed] * Mario Kart 64 (N64 - 9.87 million) [citation needed] * Donkey Kong Country (SNES - 9.30 million) [citation needed] * Super Mario Kart (SNES - 8.76 million) [citation needed] * Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64 - 8.60 million) [citation needed] * Halo 2 (Xbox - 7.66 million) [citation needed] * Halo: Combat Evolved (Xbox - 6.57 million) [citation needed] * The Legend of Zelda (NES - 6.51 million) [citation needed] * Super Smash Bros. Melee (GC - 6.05 million) [citation needed] You can see that nintendo has made most of the games, hopefully nintendo will come back fighting and sell heaps of wii's. |

Ok i dont know what bundled games has to do with anything but you do notice that 10 of 13 was made very long ago when Nintendo didnt have that much of a competition and when the comment GFx arent everything its all about gameplay(even tho n64 was better than ps1 x_X) then theres 1 from GC lol and Halo 1 and 2.your comparison is worse than mine its like comparing an egg with a chicken they are still the same thing but with diferent flavor and texture.(if that makes sence o.o im weird >.>) |

The only really old ones are the first three - the rest are snes and N64 games.
Which still beat Halo 1 and 2. |

Yeah it is funny people are like HALO IS SO GREAT!!!!1111//1
And yet it can't even break sales records for games that are that old. =/ |

Having the extra CPU, GPU, and RAM, Nintendo could easily multi-process and allow games to expand upon each other, for example; have an amazingly huge MMORPG on all three consoles, the game would reach the full extent of the PS3 and 360 due to the use of the processing, on the Wii, the game could run an expansion, overlapping the actual game, using memory unaccessable on the other systems. Sure the graphics might run smoothly, but with the extra memory, the MMORPG could even make a graphical expansion input for the Wii, and not bog it down a bit.

Sega had a good fanbase but nothing as big as snes since snes was the 2nd console from nintendo nintendo at that time had about 70% of the market share meaning it wasnt even a competition...the N64 had about same story but much powerful than the competition.(No Comp) By Shades ""Yeah it is funny people are like HALO IS SO GREAT!!!!1111//1 And yet it can't even break sales records for games that are that old. =/"" I really liked Halo mainly becouse im not a PC FPS player and it was really good but i dont own an xbox i just go about facts buddy, and why cant it break sells from past games....well if your not smart enough to know then im not gonna waste my time saying it o.O Hint (Pentium 4 or Celeron?) |

I just showed you the top 5 GC games and non even passed Halo 1 let alone Halo 2...Yes there are more gamers now then ever before but you think that Mario will sell 40mil games like it did on the NES? it sold 5mil+ on the GC lol Mario is slowly dieng Nintendo has brought nothing new and its still dead till we see what the wii will offer but as facts goes its going Poof and fast. Edit: I also like to point out clockspeeds don't mean crap. The problem is how Intel gets their clockspeed vs how AMD does. I don't remember the specifics but I know that they arn't the same. I am also going to assume the 360 is using a tri core intel processor. A dual core 2.0GHz processor could most certainlly out perform it. But it's rather hard to say as I don't know what kind it exactly is...
