Didnt know where to put this

I made a chair and in the thing I put

turf
chair
icon = 'chair.dmi'

but it just shows a picture of a blank square and I made the icon and everything I dont know what's wrong though

look up icon_state in the reference also while your at it read the Dm Guide and Dm Reference.

Yes it was. If the chair has an icon state set to it in the icon file, the state needs to be set after setting the icon file.
