Yeah, as the title says: I can't use the windows XP-layout anymore.. Can anybody tell me how to restore it?

Just in case you think I didn't try:
There's only the 'Windows Classic' in 'Right-click>properties>design(My comp's dutch, so I don't know what it says in english computers :P)>windows-and-buttons'.

Any help is apreciated.

Well, This may or may not help, it's a snazy way to do it though!

Thanks a bunch! It's all working properly now, I enjoy the new skins rather than the XP skin. I already tried skins from themexp.org but those didn't work.. Anyway: Thanks!

Look on that site for a skin named GT3. You'll love it. (Though, switching back to normal windows after gives you a real headache for about a week).

Right click the Taskbar, the thing with the start button and press properties from there go into Start Menu and change it to Start-Menu instead of classic start menu. Classic is performance wise.

Actualy, Windows Blinds is a rip off. You can do what it and styleXP does for free! http://forums.gideontech.com/ index.php?PHPSESSID=e10a7bfa2fe0ac23a553ef85cf413f07&topic=2 9246.msg317694#msg317694

Thanks for the link. But I am having touble with it:
I followed every step the guy stated, but when I double click the visual style file it gives an error. Something about that "the service" didn't answer the command properly. I'm confused at this one. Can anyone tell me what exactly went wrong? =/

Well, sounds like your theme service is not working, or at least not on. Try restarting your computer. If that doesnt fix it, try going into your services list and make that the theme service is running (control panel>admin tools>services).
