Hello to all you byonders out there, there is a newbie amongst your midst. A friend recently told me about a week ago of a gaming site that would allow you to make your own game and play other people's games, so I had finally taken the time yesterday to make this account here. I am also studying a little bit about C++ at my school here, so I am hoping that it will help me learn this programming language too. I hope my stay on byond is a pleasant one and also hope to strive in this community. It would really help if I had your opinions on which games out there are worth taking a look at so that I could get a good idea on what you guys call DM is capable of. I hope to see your responses soon! :)

Well, if you're looking for some good games, I can recommend a few:
Tanks is a fun multiplayer game in which you drive tanks around a randomly generated map and attempt to blow up other teams. QuickStep is a simple board game, a lot of fun to play. Kwijibo is a unique word game where you try to find words that have a particular set of letters in a particular order (with optional gaps between), or bluff and pretend you know one. Anything by Leftley is a blast. I don't think you can download Lode Wars at the moment, but if you ever see it hosted it's worth playing. LaserWars is a sort of card/board game that involves complex strategy. Bombard is a very fun tank game in which the goal is to hit other tanks by adjusting for distance, height, and wind; it's a terrific game for a large number of players. Webcrawl is another good multiplayer game in which you're a spider trying to catch different insects for your team. Lost Legends is a pretty well-done RPG with a cool experience system where you can choose your specialty and train for it using various skills in battle. Finally, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Incursion, a game of conquest with some Risk-like flair and a few special aspects of its own. I think you'll get more of a chance to find out which games you like for yourself by checking out the top ranked games, which should give you a better idea of what everyone's playing. The rankings are based off of every member's favorite games, and the ones I've listed here are some of my own favorites. Lummox JR |

The games Lummox mentioned, while they are great. I would not attempt to create something to the magnitude of them right away. Unless you are some super human? =) Welcome to the great BYOND.
