You have seen/heard about the GTA hot coffee "incident". Here's the newest one about the Sims 2. At this rate, there will be many AO games to come..Bull...

Well, I know you can disable the fuzzy block on the sims 2, but all you see is mole hills for brests, and that is it. No genitals, what-so-ever. Hardly pornagraphic. Actually there is one mod out there that shows everything: http://the-sims-downloads.com/downloads-cat-21.html I haven't actually tried it out, but it claims to, and it lists it here: http://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=28 as being a mod that cabn show full nudity. |

Then the mod isn't part of the original game on sale.
I made a Sim get naked without the blur from a glitch in Sims 1. I made him go into town and shake old lady's hands. It was halirious. They don't have genetalia. |

Come on now, you have to draw the line someplace. It is like saying that Crayola crayons should be banned because you can draw nude people with it. I doesn't "Reviel" it "Adds". Oh ya, and cameras, those should be gone, you can actualy capture images of peoples privates with those, can you believe that? They should make cameras illigal.

If you're going to ban Sims 2, you should be consistent and ban Free speech too. And that'd be against everything America stands for. Ban the Sims and you ban the free world. |

Well if they're going to ban that why not science, and health books? Last time I was in school it had naked photos in them.

I jus don't see the prob..Sims have flat "sexual organ-less" bodies. Even after that, they still put a censor on them. After GTA, they are hunting down any kinda game that contains anything that even resembles nudity I guess..

I don't understand.... they should ban this from the source: People. No poeple equals no nudity. I can't believe they haven't banned humans yet.
We should ban them for finding these and making it such a hot topic >=D |

Someone needs some sense slapped into them. And I'm not talking about EA.
I honestly don't get how this is supposed to be "worse" than Hot Coffee. Are Barbie dolls worse than pornography now? If Sims 2 gets an AO rating based on this, then so should all Barbie products. And, because Barbie is supposed to be worse than pornography, then pornography should be legal for all ages. Is that what you want, Mister Jack Thompson? 'Cos if so, you're going the right way about it. Thompson this afternoon updated his earlier statement, saying he is aware certain mods only remove "the blur," but adds that "Electronic Arts has done nothing about this." Thompson's new conclusion: EA is "cooperating, gleefully, with the mod community to turn Sims 2 into a porn offering." Nice backsliding there, mate. "The game has full depictions of genitalia!!!1!" ...to... "Third-party mods put full depictions of genitalia in the game!!1!!1" ...to... "Okay, so there aren't any genitalia [and if there are, it's obviously not EA's fault]..." ...to... "BUT BUT BUT BUT THEY'RE NOT DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT WAAAAAH!" Um, what? How are they SUPPOSED to regulate something they have no control over? You, sir, fail at intelligence. This would be funny if he wasn't so serious. As it stands, it's just scary. Human stupidity never fails to shock and astound me, no matter how many times I see it in action... |

And it is not a cheat, is a mod, something that has to be searched for, and placed in. It is not easier than getting porn on the internet.
Yes, it does remove the fuzz from the kids too, so you get to see...gasp, a peach colored, crappyly modeled, body of a 10 year old.
No genetals, not even nipples if I remember correctly (Yes I did have this mod for the sims 2, just to see how detailed the models where, and they where not detailed at all.
Don't think I am a pervert or anything, I installed a lot of mods, that was just one that I tested out. Also, I will openly admit to looking at legal pornography. So if you want to call me a pervert for that, go ahead, I will just ignore that comment.
