Each time someone hosts a Mystic Journey server, the HUD receives a new "game" called "Mystic Journey: so-and-so's Server".
Not that I have any problem with this. The only problem with it, that it clogs up the Unpublished Games listing even more than it already is with the DBZ games.

Please tell the owner of said game to release a new version ASAP.
Instead of posting in the Dev forums, you could try contacting Gunbuddy or post on the Mystic Journy forums.

Or don't post stuff like this, use the support thing instead.
I was going to post too, but then I THOUGHT rather then whined. I paged one of the server runners and they say it's because MJ's hub entry crashed. So after throwing insults to each other I told him what he was to the world and blocked him.

But, that solves that. :D

After a bit more research, it shows they are just stupid.

while it is not our job to inform a developer to issue new versions of thier games (that's up to them and their fans), the issue of 'spamming' the hub will be looked into as soon as possible.

thanks for the report!
Everyone:

The forum has recently been flooded with requests to get rid of certain games which are "clogging up" the hub. This ranges from live games to dead hub entries.

These requests do nothing more than waste forum space, as the BYOND Staff are well aware of any problems and are working to make the online experience better for all. If you absolutely, positively MUST report something, please use the form found at the Support FAQ. Even then, requests to deal with bad or dead hub entries take the lowest priority. We'd rather improve the hub interface so that you simply don't see stuff you don't want to unless you specifically look for it. This makes our jobs much easier in the long run, as we don't want to spend all our time policing the hub.

If you have suggestions to improve the hub interface those are all welcome. If want to tattle on somebody, please don't waste our time unless you have a suggestion for how the interface can solve the problem, outside of deleting or suppressing the specific hub entry. Pointing out a particular hub entry as an example for how your suggestion will improve the experience is fine. Simply telling on someone is not.

The first step of the improvement process has already been implemented. If you search the hub now, you will generally get far fewer results and less dead wood cluttering your search results. Hub entries with nothing to download and which aren't played regularly no longer show up in standard searches. To see everything, you have to go to Advanced Search and check the new box to return everything. You can see the difference now by searching for a common word (such as "game" or "icon") and comparing the results from the standard search vs. advanced.

We'll continue to tweak this feature and add new features over the next few months. We hope you all will find the hub easier to use as we move forward with this. And please don't hesitate to make suggestions, subject to the guidelines above.

Thanks!

Just to clarify, there's no such thing as a "crashed" hub entry. The reason these are showing up in Unpublished is because the hub owner changed his entry to require a hub password. Either those hosts haven't upgraded to a newer version of the game, or the owner hasn't released one that sends the appropriate password. So their live broadcasts are rejected and sent to Unpublished. Just as the feature was intended to do.

Wow! Nice job! I love this new search feature!

:-D
Phoenix, it's not what you think. To produce that effect, Gunbuddy13 must have modified his hub entry toi have a password, but not released a version of the game that utilizes this password.

Perhaps this should be made into an announcement?
