Like Counter-Strike does....man, there are still new people coming to Counter-Strike, too,... I've gotten some pretty newbie-oriented questions in recent months, too :D

I really enjoyed a game on the Amiga called Powermonger. Though I think I enjoyed it more for the chaos you could cause than for the actual strategy. (Hmm... the mental gears are spinning... pillaging simulator design outline beginning to take shape...)
My favorite RTS is definitely Red Alert.

Eh, my Radeon 9000 and 1.7 ghz PC can only run CS:S in 640x480 with all effects turned to low, everything cranked down as far as it can go, and I get like a max of 30 fps...

Shooting any gun = <20 fps :(

Heh, Terrik...

I have Command and Conquer (Both CDs), Red Alert, Red Alert 2, Red Alert: Aftermath, Covert Operations, Counterstrike, and the C&C Soundtrack for all of them.
Anyone played Total Annihilation? It's a neat strategy game, pretty popular. I liked it.
