I just went to 7-11 to get a hot chocolate before I came home I just have to say they are the gods of hot chocolate. They have a bunch of little things you can put in your hot chocolate like vanilla, more chocolate, pepermint sprinkles, the tiny marshmellows and much more! Go now!

Being that I'm something of a kitchen geek, Kim and I have a fully equipped hot chocolate bar... well, not quite fully equipped. I still need to get a milk steamer... complete with sprinkles (some simply decorative, some chocolate or mint flavored), flavor syrups, whip cream spray cans, little marshmallows, etc. It's very nice not having to go out into the cold to get high quality hot chocolate.

No, no, not a kitchen nazi. I take a very laid-back approach to my physical possessions, including my kitchen toys, which is actually kind of sad because she broke my favorite one, a black and decker blender/drink mixer which doesn't seem to be made any more, by putting a crucial part through the dishwasher. I'd be extremely upset about this, except that wouldn't accomplish anything... it just means I have to get a separate blender and drink mixer now.

Just ring Black and Decker. They should be able to hook you up with a replacement part. Just be nice, if they see the "Discontinued" tag next to the product they usually won't bother looking any feather.
If that fails, ring some of the bigger pawn shops. What can I say, I'm an expert at replacing broken stuff without people knowing =P PS: If all that fails, or you're lazy, just leave this post open and on the screen next time you know Kim will be on the computer. Then you'll get it for Christmas. | |
We've already looked at those avenues. Anyways, all that would happen if she saw this post is she'd feel horriblier guiltier about it.

Wish I had a 7-11 close by, I'd drive up there.... Back in Florida that's the only place I'd ever go to for some quick snacks/drinks.
