Most people think I'm well over 18 becuase I have more hair than most people. IM 15!!!!!
Well, on the whole sex issue, I am strongly against it. (No I am not catholic :-P)

I don't understand why almost everyone thats over the age of 14 and under the age of 18 are having sex. It is morally wrong, they have a chance of dying from it (AIDS), or getting/getting someone pregnant. I guess teenagers just like to take chances.

But I have no remorse what so ever for any teenager that gets AIDs, or gets/gets someone pregnant. I chuckle with glee.

Explain to me how its morally wrong to express your love to someone through sexual contact? And if not that, pure human lust. It's human nature(instinct?), whether you try to repress it or not.

Yes, there is a chance of contracting aids. There is also a chance that by the time I write this, you will have died from a deadly disease passed to you by a swarm of jamiacan killer bees. The point being that anything in life has certain risk to it.

I agree on the pregnancy issue, but that has something to do with the knowledge(or lack thereof) that the average teenager in the US has of what consequences may follow their actions. I would be willing to bet money that a large part of income in Pharmacies in Denmark comes from the purchase of condoms from people who are still in their relative youth(14-24).

Maybe I have died of a deadly disease passed to me by jamacian killer bees... but first off I live in Minnesota, and second off taht happens on a rare occasion, if never.

Alathon, I did come here for an arguement, I came here to express my opinion... although your opinion is an opinion based on my opinion.

I don't know if you live in America, but most of us here are hateful pigs that wish to take down the world. ('cept me... I am not a mindless zombie of the system)

Look at that face, do I look like a 18 year old? No. Oh well people can be deceived I guess. I think the internet is actually proving to people that age doesnt always matter. Ive had people not even want to talk to me because of my age, but they get to know ya and then they think of you as an equal.

In Canada, it's 14 (C'mon, Canada... get on the ball here!). In the US, 14 is only legal in two or three states. But even there, it is legal only if the younger party does not complain. In other words, consent can be retracted after the fact, and the age otherwise stands at 16/17.

Actually, the minimum legal age, at least in B.C., is 16, now. Younger than that age, it's considered statutory rape, even if it's supposedly consentual.

Sixteen is a good age, I think -- it allows kids to explore their sexuality once they're all beyond puberty, and it doesn't force them to wait to do so.

(Incidentally, yes, I'm a virgin too, but that's a given. =))

I can't remember if it's genuine or just hearsay, but a recent statistic showed that only one out of six teens has had sexual intercourse by graduation. And if it is genuine, that survey is probably skewed, since it'd be 'cool' to answer yes to the question they posed ("We'd like to ask you a personal question -- if you don't want to answer or are offended, let us know; have you had sexual intercourse before?".

Didn't you say something about conversation and intellect? I think by posting this message you seem to come on as a liar....

Even if your over 18 your chances of getting aids and dieing from them are the same, and its likely that without a condom your gonna get someone pregnant(unless you have some venerial issue that stops you from making babies). So by your post then your also against people over 18 and having sex, maybe nobody should have sex anymore and the human race can die off?

While we're on the subject of morality, consider this: Chuckling with glee about someone dying of AIDS (or of anything else) makes you heartless, uncaring, unthinking, and in my book, about as immoral as they make 'em.
I myself am Ok with sex...
I'm a virgin...

I'm not looking for sex really, I want it but I"m not looking for it. I think that it's ok to haev sex as long as you take precautions, such as the girl uses birth control and you use a condom... That basically eliminates most chances of disease and pregnancy...

Birth control-90 somehting percent effective
Condom-75 percent effective

Alas... I am waiting to have sex until I turn 18 and move out on my own... I don't like the whole idea of hiding condoms, etc... trying to clean up the mess, hide everything etc and sneaking around...

I'd brather just beable to enjoy it without all the heartache of doing it as a minor, and getting in trouble.

I'm not sure where the boundary of laughter between "amused" and "perverted" is, so I'll avoid chuckling. =P

All I know is that every time a conversation turns towards babies and other hazards of sex, I feel like gloating.

What do you think about children, Lexy?
In response to Lord of Water
I love them. My mother ran a child care center until I was about 18, which meant that as long as I lived at home, the house was full of children, including babies, which I usually helped take care of. In fact, there are over a dozen young people walking this planet today who said "Lexy" (or sometimes, "Lgsy") before "mama" or "dada" or any variation thereof. Most of these young people are distinguished by their vivid imaginations and their immense vocabularies.

I fully plan on having a child some day, and that's the keyword: plan. Although it might cost me a little bit more to get the process started, I will not get pregnant before I am good and ready. Hence, I gloat.

(If you're wondering about the phrase "babies and other hazards of sex", that is the title of Dave Barry's farcical guide to human reproduction and early childhood. Highly recommended.)

Doesn't that cost alot?
