First, you should know that I am Dracon, using my alternate key :-P

But anyways, I would like to announce that I, Dracon, am leaving BYOND for good. I have caused too much trouble for everyone, and I'm dearly sorry for that. I am sorry for my spamming incidents, I am sorry for my source codes getting out, and ruining Games Live!

This has greatly affected my life, I wish I could stay, but I feel that I should leave - for everyone's sake. It has been a great 2 and 1/2 years on BYOND. I am open to comments replying to this post! :-) I will stick around for about 2 days to see what people have to say. Don't be afraid to speak your mind, wiether your comments be good or bad.

You didnt ruin games live.

I feel that the people to blame are those who stole it in the first place.

If anyone is to blame its the people who make the rips, host the rips and even the people who play them.

"They are fun" they say, If one is so fun, why cant the original be just as fun?

You still have creative control over every piece of that source code. you still have control over how its used.

All my past arguments and flames towards you were motivational or to get you motivated. You were and still may be unaware of your rights.

All I ask is that you look it up. Remember the game itself is not yours, its funimations. but Funimation never made the src file. thats your own

Dont leave. I think you are a pretty good coder, better than myself and every single one of the people that has ripped your games. Your not a bad person for making games people love, its just a bad crowd of people that love your games. To bad your leaving, I think you were the best maker of dbz games on byond so far.

Gonna miss ya. I too am taking a break from BYOND and thinking of quiting. I too have brought anger in some people but i guess thats the way it is.

Well If you ever come back we will welcome you.

Ugh, why does everyone have to make a big public issue out of whether they leave or stay? Go if you want to, stay if you want to. No matter what anyone does say, the choice is yours. That, and I don't think one person who's done this big dramatic "farewell, cruel BYOND" routine has actually left. It's just a ploy to get attention and to get people to try to talk you up.

If you're leaving because you've caused trouble, my question is, would it really be so hard to just stop causing trouble? Yes, the game rips will still be there, but they'll still be there even if you do leave. There's nothing anyone can do to get rid of them. On that subject, I wish you would take Dareb's advice... do exactly what he's told you to do, just so he can see, once and for all, how spectacularly that won't work. I don't for one second believe that will shut him up... but it would be fun.

Boy, aren't you a mouthy one? You don't need to reply to this. I have been a big part of the BYOND community for quite some time now (most of the part being bad), so I thought I'd announce my leaving.

I also announced my apologies. But, of course, you probably skimmed over them and went right to the criticism. And I am not having a big, dramatic farewell. I'm just saying "Hey all, I'm going to be leavin' BYOND for good this time. It's been nice knowing you all ^^"

[Edit: Oh, and was this a debate over weither to leave or stay? Put on your reading-glasses, Lexy]

Was this realization before or after you started spamming the forum badly and abusively enough the other day to get banned again? Why Dantom didn't chose to ban this key as well is a mystery to me.

It wasn't spamming, it was posting pointless messages because the "Forum Administrator" kept deleting posts that I wished for BYONDers to see (There was nice ones that I had posted - obviously the "Forum Administrator' had a problem with them). Fighting for my freedom of speech, in other words.

On a related note, I believe that America is an evil empire.
